Une exposition consacrée aux Robots a lieu actuellement au Musée National de la Science et de la Nature situé à Ueno, un quartier de Tokyo.
Divisée en trois thèmes -- Karakuri(automates), Anime(Manga, jouets), et les derniers robots -- The Great Robot Exhibition décrit le développement du robot au Japon depuis les Karakuri, ces poupées mécaniques datant du 17e siècle, en passant par Mazinger Z et jusqu'à Asimo, le robot de chez Honda.
La Grande Exposition de Robots est ouverte du 23 octobre 2007 au 27 janvier 2008.
A major robot exhibition opened last Tuesday at the National Museum of Nature and Science in Tokyo's Ueno Park called: The Great Robot Exhibition: Karakuri, Anime and the Latest Robots.
Divided into three themes, karakuri (clockwork dolls), imagination (anime, manga and toys) and real machines, The Great Robot Exhibition brings together dozens of robots, toys, artifacts and demonstrations.
The Great Robot Exhibition is running through January 27.
